Other than Coinigy for instance, tradingview.com doesn’t have charts for all available altcoin exchanges and also not for any available altcoin. Especially when they are relatively new and only listed on low cap exchanges. In the case of altcoins it’s basically the data of Binance, Bittrex and Poloniex which can be analyzed. But of course the majority of altcoins is traded on Binance, so it’s sufficient.

For total beginners the platform offers a great feature to get used to actively trading. You can click on the interactive chart of your choice and choose “tradingview paper trading” on the bottom of the window where you find the connectable brokers. There are no Bitcoin brokers for live trading so far, so this tool is only useful for beginners.

Live trading is not enabled for Cryptocurrencies so far, as the connected brokers are traditional stock and forex broker. So tradingview.com is not an alternative to Coinigy.com when in terms of Bitcoin and Altcoin cross-plattform trading.
